I Ponder
Maybe one day before I get to much older
I will find the time to say what is on my mind
aged like wine but bolder
A little acidic but never unkind
people and places
wherever I look
strange faces
I’ve read the book
rushing around head in the air
hustle and bustle
stand still and stare
choose this choose that what a tussle
the good things in life are heaven sent
to the heavens we pray
why is it such a worry to pay the rent
all I need is a sunny day
still some things are left to ponder
shady tree good friend of mine
I think of this and that and wonder
the world I would fix if I had the time
